When we got here last night the hotel receptionist was both accommodating and courteous. The breakfast buffet this morning was so delicious love the brewed coffee and the food was superbly delicious. The room was small though but was clean just right for a friendly budget hotel. the view from our room this morning as I open the curtain was superb morning sun. Staying here with my husband for 5 days for leisure just to get to tour and explore the Singapore.

Not recommended at all. My room was 810, a sticky room with cockroaches everywhere. (Pictures below for reference). I reported to front-desk and got a free upgrade to a better room. But there were still some problems: - Very noisy water pipes when people around used the water - No full separation between toilet and shower room, so it was easy to get toilet wet - No disposable slippers and bottled water provided - Poor light switch that sometimes the light turned on and off by itself - Poor sound insulation In general this hotel is old but a bit pricy in terms of the quality and cleanliness. I still rated for 2 stars because the receptionists are nice and helpful.

It is a nice little property with great staff and service, located conveniently near a bus stop and two MRT stations, amid great dining and shopping options. The rooms themselves are small, but well maintained with good in room facilities. My room was on level 2 and was part of the property’s shophouse front facade, so it had old windows that couldn’t be opened. So if you want a view, I’d recommend choosing a higher floor. The problem with the lower floor is also the noise of the road, bus stop, pedestrian crossing beeper, and passing traffic, all intrude into the room at all hours. The bathroom was small, but the shower and water was great. As was the linen, towels, and toiletries. There’s a lovely restaurant downstairs, with wonderful staff, where you get breakfast and other meals. The staff at this Ibis were outstanding with their efficiency, information, and general demeanour. It was a delight to be staying here. Thank you!
